Our agency was undertaking the Ottawa Jazz Festival rebrand and wanted to explore both territories through various digital and experiential means.
I was tasked to explore what some animated/ kinetic assets could look like for web + social. We also wanted to design a potential exclusive keepsake for lucky pass members. We looked at cost efficient, but very mood setting and modern paper lanterns that could be easily assembled at home and would elevate the festival’s digital only experience (due to the height of covid-19 at the time). The motif would be die cut to illuminate new branding elements on the walls at home.
